Nice list!  For #1 you are talking about Jet Li's first movie... correct?  The one where he eats her dog?  I ask as there is another movie from a few years prior called simply 'Shaolin Temple'.  As far as I can remember, no dogs are eaten in that one Grin

Would Drunken Master count?  I don't think it was released in the US until the 80s... or was it the 90s?

Totally forgot that one in my list.  It was an unintentional omission and probably deserves #2 or 3 on the list I made.  As for The Shaolin Temple, I was speaking of Jet Li's debut.  The story is much the same as the earlier film, but without Li, it lacks some of the punch (pun intended). 

I did think about Drunken Master, but did not include it based on its original release date.  It was definitely released before the 90s in the US because I had a VHS tape from the 80s.  The only western country release date listed on IMDB was for spain on 31 December 1979.  According to them, it was widely released in Asia before 1980, though I am really not sure the exact US release date.
