As long as you don't invite Peanut, we're in the clear.

I could have, but had no interest in it.  I barely care about FB.  No need to join another social networking site that I wouldn't give a piss about

Facebook is a way for people to have loads of online friends that they never talk too,but if i think the world needs to know i had a curry for dinner last night..i can put it right on everyones wall, then wait for everyone to comment how intersting i am...Twitter is even worse..its 24/7  of self publicity to make me feel like my life is every bit as boring as everyone elses..
Google plus is a mixture of the two but with more "control"... i like "control"...  ;D

Stew

Ps..google plus has no annoying Viagra adverts etc,so far..

No.  Facebook is a way for my wife's grandmother's sister's daughter to keep inviting me to join some cause and to admit that we are somehow related in a fantasy universe.  I believe that in fact she is my first cousin-in law, once removed (and I have never met her in person)

Facebook is good and bad.

Great for getting back in touch with people.
Bad for the psychological crap that goes on.

It's worth being on, even if you have just your name visible and nothing else.

Paul, I think you should join!  ;D
Best wishes,
Adam

There are a lot of points to Facebook.  On a lot of pages I "like" I can see a bunch of cool/interesting/funny, etc. stuff that otherwise I would not have ever seen.  Reconnecting with people is another good one (unless you are a private investigator or want to hire one- FB is a lot easier/cheaper/less stalker like) to find people you want to say hi to or whatever from back in the day.  Networking to see/meet friends of friends is cool.  Most of all (IMO) it's a good way to waste time...
