Not sure what I could afford with it, but it would have to be a Universal Horror of some kind. Hopefully from the Frankenstein series.

You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

If the Casablanca lobby card I have in my profile picture can be gotten for $10,000 that's the one I'd get.

I'd put it towards the Theda Bara "Cleopatra" WC in the Heritage auction, and use the rest to buy something else.  This would look astonishing next to the "Salome" WC, so those of you that still haven't thought about what to get me for Christmas (it's never too early), this would be the ideal gift.

My all-time favorite movie is M, so I'd love to own some paper on this.  I'm not sure of the price, though.  The Casablanca that Mel posted, I will own in the next ten years (God willing, of course.)  Not a big fan of the Black Lagoon.  I never got the attraction to the big lips monster.  Maybe some Hitchcock, like Shadow of a Doubt.  A three sheet for Laura.  But I don't think these are worth $10k.

While beyond the price range of this thread... previously posted here: http://www.allposterforum.com/index.php/topic,1763.msg23853.html#msg23853

Cine-Images has some nice original M posters.... a bit pricey for my tastes though!

Original German 3-sheet 20,000 Euros
http://www.cine-images.com/moteur/page_detail.php?id=3390

Original French 1-panel for 30,000 Euros
http://www.cine-images.com/moteur/page_detail.php?id=5182

And last but, by no means least... an insane art deco French 4-panel that makes me want to weep it is so beautiful!  Unfortunately, the 50,000 Euro price also makes me want to weep!

You haven't really answered your question yet T... I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

I'm still debating as one of the posters I want the most is less than $10k.  I can't decide if I should pick based on absolute desire (even if less than $10k), or based on maximizing my $10k purchase (best poster right at $10k)...

let me get my time machine and go back to 1995 Grin
It is hard for me to pick one I like that is close to $10,000 and not a lot more or less. For less I would say a House On Haunted Hill 3sh.

To Catch a Thief 6-sheet.  Not quite 10K....  This would be the ONE though...

But maybe I could work a deal to throw in a Rear Window 3-sheet?.

Oh yes, I will buy these before I die even if I have to charge them to a credit card on my death bed....

These have been my "if I win the lottery" posters since I started collecting.  Probably would buy all version if I won the lottery though...
