Pondered if this should be here; It looks blue in the morning, at times pink in the afternoon, probably purple at night.. so after what it seemed a LONG HOT SUMMER... I decided to leave it here in such a good company

Rosa, you either place it in a non-sun-lighted room or stop drinking all day long.  ;)
Or did they already print holofoil posters back in 1958?

Hi Rosa, very nice blue and pink poster...is it a Quad?

It looks like Paul Newman is puckering up reading for a kiss

Yeah, it seems that the area in the center is a light purple, and the beautious blues and pinks kinda give it an overall purple glow.  thumbsup.gif

Very nice, and for such a classic movie.  That must be almost like a unicorn, to find unfolded and in that condition.  Was it an auction house find, or something similar, if you don't mind me asking?  In any case, congrats.  cool1

Thank you. Glad you like it.  Bought it from an UK dealer and well known e-shop that sells quads at a price. I know some consider these purchases almost like a crime! But I didn't care, I still think that  if you find your "unicorn" you just have to bite the bullet. I just had to have it. I have never found another in this condition.

I put an offer and they accepted it. I remember checking with Paul here to see if the dealer was trustworthy. Must admit, I paid a premium but I have no regrets. Below is the link to the website and the poster.

Hi Jeff, yes on eBay. I had it on my watchlist for about a year, then bit the bullet and splurged something like 10 Euro on it to buy it!
