Yes it is that is one of my favorite ones. The Creepshow insert is nice as well. The Swamp Thing poster is very nice. I would have to say those three are my favorites lol.

Just looked at your album.  Very nice posters, indeed.  The one I am most jealous of would be the Swamp Thing. Adrienne Barbeau floated my boat during my early teen years.  I actually remember saving up money to buy that movie on RCA's Selectavision disc.  Gosh, I am showing my age.  Those things were not even capable of recording.

I will have a minty Swamp Thing in my collection regardless of the naysayers in the Bourgeois class.  Grin

I picked up a Swamp Thing insert a couple weeks ago from Rich's auction.  I liked the form factor on the insert a bit more than the 1 sheet.  To me the composition felt tighter.

I guess if you mean by "composition felt tighter", that her jugs were more prominently featured, then I concur.   Grin

Here is an interesting Belgian version (not mine)

This is also available as an international one sheet.
I passed on it a few times because the woman doesn't even resemble AB.
Decent composition, though.
Maybe I'll snag it next time.

I totally agree about the international portrayal of AB being below par.  But, I do like the way the creature is drawn.  Kind of of looks like Frankenstein in the face, and looks as if he literally was born out of the soggy swamp land.

Yes I do need to frame them. In time I will I did not realize how expensive it was to frame inserts. I also need to frame my older posters as well but I need to have frames custom made for those as well. So in time I will have most of my posters framed and on the wall.

What is your expectation for price?  Spotlight Displays has a front loader insert frame for about $50
http://www.spotlightdisplays.com/insert-poster-frame.html

Hollywood Poster Frames (Sue) will sell you an economy insert frame for under $40.

That is not a bad deal at all. Every place I checked into that was local for me wanted to charge around $200 per frame which I found a bit ridiculous. So when I have some extra cash I will have to pick some up. Thank you for that information.

$200 is very expensive for an insert sized frame.  I get 40x60 frames with very high grade UV acrylic, acid free backing, and nice wood molding for that price.

Yeah, that's the typical Michaels/Hobby Lobby quote these days, but only during their "sales"

LOL that is funny you say that because Michaels is one of the places I stopped at and they were the most expensive place.

hey Randy.. don't listen to that Chris guy.. he thinks that Australian daybills are pretty.

collect what you like, but make sure not to let peer pressure from people who collect Australian daybills dictate your buys

You're new to the game.. it will take a couple years or so for your mind to gel around what you really want, and you'll go through your collection and say to yourself "wow.. I'm so glad I got that" and "man what was I thinkin' when I got that" plus everything in between.

I've been collecting for 48 years. I'm supposed to have lots of nice stuff, as well as craplods of crap as there is more crap than there is nice stuff. In 48 years, you may have just as nice a load of crap as I do!

Slowly working on getting frames. I spend more on the posters and deplete my funds before I get the chance to get frames lol.
