Phantom of the Opera
« on: August 20, 2018, 09:07:58 PM »
I talked to our own APF Jeff and it looks like there is not a specific topic/thread for Phantom of the Opera!  So, here's a place for all of us to show off all of our Phantom goodies.  I'll start off with this giant approximately 11" x 17 " 4 page herald signed by Mary Philbin!  I won this at one of Bruce's auctions last month.  The signature is her classic signature that looks to be to the same "Mike" to which she also signed the German Man Who Laughs poster.  Looks like the same silver ink pen as well.  Okie

That looks awesome, Okie.

And with her beautiful, distinctive signature. That's a special piece, for sure!  bed1

Congrats on that pickup.

And I love that the front cover imagery was done in RED.  thumbsup.gif

Really great, Okie.

Those are awesome, T!  And, with all three looks for the Phantom, too.  Very cool.  Okie

For sure, Okie. Especially when there are other versions of this same herald where the font imagery was printed in b/w, making it look like basic, everyday newsprint.

Your copy is stunning. And with MP's sig, is nothing more than a fantastic, added bonus.
