Those Swiss sure can make a watch, but packing...... Forget it. I was going to put this in the Recent Acquisitions thread, but it seems right here.

This package arrived today. Any guesses what it is...

I do know it just has sticky tape at each end.

The ends have been bent in somewhat, the tube is as soft as.

This may help to identify what it is, as up until this point I had no idea what it was...

Is it Half sheets???

No it's two Lobby Cards....

What a thick Twat....

Sorry to hear your experience here, the exposed taped ends are pretty crazy, never seen that one before. Yet.

Great lobbies, BTW...really cool.

I must have upset someone somewhere in the postal/poster community. I seem to get more than my fair share of problems.  I've nearly got the cards flat mind so all is well.

Paul,

those are a couple great lobbies. At least it looks like the fibers of the card were not broken, from being overly bent (no crackle lines seen in the ink). I bet they will relax fine or if you weight them down, will look as good as new.

What moron, tho, puts the sticky side of clear tape on the ends like that, facing the poster? Good grief.. hitself

With that tube looking Uber thin, Im glad they arrived as they did, and not sporting a whole lot more damage, rips or tears. Wink

I'm sad to see the Royal mail are back on track, these two arrived today...

Bashed in corner at one end

Torn open corner the other end

Elastic band doing a good job of tearing the packaging

Good old Royal mail, back on form... gun2

Paul,

How the HELL do you have all these problems with postage!?  jawdrop
I feel for you!

I must say I laughed a little at the end of your post as I didn't expect you to say what you said ...
... I mean, I was thinking it, and then you actually said it - I think what you said was & is an understatement!

Have you tried explaining to your sources how to package items before sending them?
