Watch out... These are 27x40, so they are easy to avoid. However, I think there are also rolled 27x41 reprints as well. It would be great to have an authentication entry on how to spot them. I have a folded version for that reason.
Although genuine rolled ones do exist... I believe eMovie has one listed right now.

What I's like to know, too, is-- are these two LA sellers (movieposterbargains and dragonbirdlw) the same person? They BOTH use the same descriptive and ramble on about their "source" at Paramount, etc: MPB auction: "This poster and many others were purchased directly from Paramount Pictures Studio after they contacted me (they were referred to me by David Hammocker the owner at the time of Western Graphics a poster company in Oregon)."
dragonbirdlw auction: "This poster and many others were purchased directly from Paramount Pictures Studio after they contacted him (they were referred to him by David Hammocker the owner at the time of Western Graphics a poster company in Oregon)..."
Isn't movieposterbargains Gregg Egbert? All sounds a little fishy to me..

I have been told that Paramount did re-strikes, I do not know if its true or not. I bought one when I first started collecting, spur of the moment, I paid $30. It still pisses me off.

"Dragonbird" - I forgot his name but I've talked to him before - is associated with Egbert. I'm not quite sure if he is a partner or employee. He used to have his own dealer website - the name of which I've also forgotten - which is now defunct.
Really they need to edit Egbert's wacky ramblings:
This poster my source bought directly from the studio Paramount Pictures more than 15 years ago . This poster and many others were purchased directly from Paramount Pictures Studio after they contacted him (they were referred to him by David Hammocker the owner at the time of Western Graphics a poster company in Oregon) when Paramount's so called "Special Effects" catalog which had a original movie poster section , when this studio venture went out of business in the late 1980s. Paramount liquidated a large inventory of one sheets that were on the books of this owned by the studio company. He, my supplier of this poster was the largest buyer of these assets at that time AND THIS REALLY IS A STUDIO ISSUE ORIGINAL ONE SHEET SIZE MOVIE POSTER at least in the sense they were for this catalog , the SPECIAL EFFECTS catalog PARAMOUNT PICTURES owned , and after this venture went out of business my source bought these FRIDAY THE 13TH one sheets , and in fact every other Friday the 13th movie poster from part 1 to part 8 . All of the others were in fact original theatrical distribution one sheet leftovers THAT WAS WHAT THE CATALOG WAS USING FOR STOCK IN THE CASE OF PART 11 TO PART VIII, wether these part 1 were or not no one knew , but they are obviously NOT 41 inches tall and obviously NOT THE NSS VERSION. It is not a NSS version 27 BY 41 INCH poster !! so if your looking for that DO NOT BID .

I wouldnt have known that this is the work of a notorious BS'er. I also wouldnt know how to properly decipher the description, which is probably the seller's intent. Throw in enough official sounding jargon and it comforts/confuses the buyer.
What a scumbag.

Dragonbirdlw is Jay _____ and he used to run flixmovieposters.com, which is now defunct. Greg's ramblings are part and parcel of his personality. I actually talked to him once and he rambled on for 45 minutes non-stop and told me wacky tales about hiring homeless people to repair Lord of the Rings posters that the studio had thrown away. Crazy stuff, man....
