Hi, I've been quite busy with other things than poster buying. I think I'm now ready enough to tell you more about it.
First thing is that I have written an article for the Dutch Film Yearbook 2010-2011 about the career of Martin Scorsese. I've been asked to do so as I am preparing to make a film that involves Scorsese. I can't tell you how yet or when, because I really don't know as I'm still in the early stages, trying to find a producer or money or both. Anyway, the article is not groundbreaking, but it has some nice background information you might not know yet. I've put it on my new blog: http://hazardousoperations.wordpress.com/2011/06/04/scorsese-in-osdorp/

The second thing is that in a few weeks time I will open an exhibition room/gallery for movie-related arts in Amsterdam. It will probably be called "MOVIE INK.". Again, it will be a modest attempt and I share the space with a friend of mine who organizes jewelry workships. It won't have regular hours, as I have to earn my money in a different way, but I will try to organize a few exhibitions each year. I will start with movie posters, but the idea is that any form of movie-related art can be presented. This includes video art, as there are not a lot of places in Amsterdam for young, beginning visual artists. The opening will take place in the third week of June, so if you are in the neighbourhood, come along and I will offer you a glass to raise.

Good for you, Wim.
It is always a pleasure to read your blogs and look at your pics.
Unfortunately, your exhibition is just a bit out of my territory.
Hopefully you will post pics when you can.
Best of luck finding production bucks.
