Charlie, your site is AMAZING!!!! I loved your "the collector" write up the most, it made me think of why I first started collecting MMA posters and what still drives me to do it. It would be a dream come true for me to create a site that showcases MMA posters and collectables 1/2 as good as your site does!

OK so I updated my September deliveries and like any fool started working on a new component of the web site.  My wife and I are studying up on MySQL and PHP language so that I can make my database searchable and spit out posters by whatever search parameter you choose.  Also trying to incorporate the php in the image flow galleries.  The hard part is getting the database just right for importing into SQL.

Well at least it will keep my mind off buying so I can snag me a nice Grace Kelly poster....

Update on .php project:

So I have not been updating the site because I decided to move towards a more dynamic way to present my posters using MySQL and PHP.  I've started two tables of the three I intend to make for the site.  The first is a film information table with film info.  The second is a poster table with information on each poster.  The eventual third will be specific to a poster in my collection with info such as condition, purchased from etc.  

Now keep in mind I only had to generate one PHP file with a looping format to generate (or pull) info on each poster.  That is the best thing about this, if I want to change formatting or what is presented, I just change it in one file.  This will also allow me to just enter poster data into one place (the table) and never bother with it again.... Later I will develop a search page by title, actor, etc...

Well, it is not necessarily about Black Swan.  Imagine a database of all the known Star Wars Posters, or Harry Potter Posters.  Or being able to call up all Natalie Portman films.  Or all Australian Daybills.  If I swing it right (and do nothing else in life) it could end up being like a wiki of posters...  But to start it will be a wiki of my posters..

I agree that you have best in title I just dont agree on that int one sheet being the best . Rarer yes but better ?  I could not disagree more.

It seems to me people sometimes get hung up on scarcity. I personally MUCH prefer your aussie one sheet and even the regualar US one sheet to that big head.

As far as Lebowski collections go overall.

I am first identifying all the posters for the film, so although I wish I had the Aussie OS that shot is from T's page... I think Ves has one too. The gallery is all I know on the title.   I don't want anyone to think I am taking credit for all these...  

I understand that not everyone will agree with me on my choice for "Best" but I have to pick one.  I am also taking some value in determining the "Runner-Ups" Lebowski is a great title for this.  I love the Intl, Italian 2F, Title Photobusta (The Black One), US OS, and the only one I don't have is the Australian OS...  I've been putting the "Runner-Ups" in order...  I am not sure that some films will have only one poster.
