I was looking for the "didn't know I had this poster" thread, but couldn't find it. Anyway I found this in with my Campaign/pressbooks.  I don't remember buying it, or where it come from!

I would like to know a bit about it, if it's a genuine film poster, repro, the date etc.  This maybe more up Thierry's street, or Rue.  Wink   I hope the info on the poster is ledge-able.

Hey Paul,

I don't collect Laurel & Hardy, so it's not really my thing, but from the look of it, it is an original 50s re-release.  Selections Cinecran re-released a bunch of those in the 50s, so I can only assume La Bohemienne is one of them.  A great poster nonetheless for anyone who likes early cinema, but for sure not an original release.

(Jesus Christ, I'm in Paris right now and it took me 20 minutes to type this on their damn Azerty keyboards  Cry)

I didn't think it was first release, my guess was late 50's early 60's, just looking at the artwork and paper quality. Anyone can guess, but that bit of extra knowledge is the key.

Thanks for your input T much appreciated, and time with that dodgy key board... will it not take a standard key board? maybe worth a go.

No, because of the different use of French letters, according to French language, all keyboards in France are the same.  Like they never use W and Q, so they moved them away.  A nightmare.

I must say I have never noticed the lack of Q and W in the French language before...

I thought you were French-born, T? If so, shouldn't using this keyboard be a piece of gāteau...   Wink

On paper, except for the fact that I went to college in the US and have been living in LA for 15 years.  You forget.
