With a $5-10K estimate, the long daybill for The Jazz Singer (1927) sold for $28,680.00 inc. the BP!  clap clap

I mostly skipped the second session, which went on until 11pm EDT - 9 hours total!  Some highlights IMO (other than what's already been covered):

Gilda (Columbia, 1946). One Sheet (27.5" X 41") Style B.

$77K realized, way more than previous sales of this style

http://movieposters.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=7094&lotNo=83422

*****

A set of special Marilyn Monroe posters went for $9K realized:

http://movieposters.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=7094&lotNo=83481

I would not have recognized MM in these:

*****

The re-release Canadian one sheet for Flying Down to Rio sold for a "mere" $6,500, a relative bargain considering the artwork is nearly-identical to the US one sheet, which sold for $239K six years ago:

US: http://movieposters.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=695&lotNo=85506

****

Son of Frankenstein half sheet (or Frankenstein 3 as it would be called nowadays) sold for $40K

I went to bid leaving a proxy for the French MACBETH which is imho an extreme fantastic poster, but never in my wildest dreams i thought it hit over 4000. Okay no it's detox time with a few episodes of TRUE DETECTIVE

Yeah, but that's a complete fluke.  This poster is not worth more than $500.  I own a few rolled dated versions.  If this Heritage number repeats itself, which I know it won't, then I'll think about selling a couple.  It would certainly buy me a Ballester.

I had to google "Ballester".

We are always buying those Revenge of the Jedi's, but not at that price! If anyone wants to sell theirs just give us a call.

We picked up some nice stuff in this auction. Frankie, Robby, Gort and a few others.

Maybe, but with Heritage, I only buy stuff that I really want that I would have trouble finding otherwise (either because it's rare or because the condition is usually not as good).  So it might be a little overpriced, but if it's the only way, it's the only way.

Good luck to you all.  After being creamed yesterday I was hoping to have a shot at a couple today but they're opening way above what I could do so I'm out before I started.

Very solid results, although it sucks to be me.  On the upside, I get to spend the day not looking at a computer screen.

Well, I was actually thinking that a lot of stuff sold for less than I thought it would.  Certainly much less than HA's estimates, which is to be expected, but still...  Lots of steals, IMO.

So they sold for around $2mil.  Is that considered a success or is it mediocre?
