you're welcome Randy.. the biggest % I made was on the Uncle Creepy.
I bought a piece of art for $500 and after a while I traded it to Russ Cochran for a 1945 Superman Sunday page by Wayne Boring, a 1934 Flash Gordon by Alex Raymond, a fourth item I don't recall and the Uncle Creepy painting. It was about $18,000 in total trade at the time (1989). I had the Creepy on my wall at home for months until I got an offer I couldn't refuse ($17,500). The other items sold for $6000 (Superman) $25,000 (Flash Gordon) and I just can't remember that other item... big profit for the original purchase, which was a Carl Barks Donald Duck cover from 1951 called Christmas for Shacktown that I had found and was never seen before (rescued from a dumpster by the guy who sold it to me)
