A nice finish on this DRAC LC, too, finishing up at $17,716.00  clap clap

I thought the description of this Dracula card was oddly generic at best "carrying a woman".  What a way to educate and excite the bidders, eh?!      Okie

Three reasons;
1) I sold it to Haggard
2) Saw it several times afterwards, and
3) I inspected every piece the FBI confiscated from this case.

Wow, I had no idea, thank you for providing all this provenance info, Crow!  So did you buy it from eMovie and then sold it to Haggard?

Actually Haggard himself bought it from eMovie, but he sold it when raising money for his Wolf Man insert, I ended up with it and sold it back to him about a year later.

For any pieces that were restored at the Gaston Auction, was the restoration done by Jaime? Or by someone else?

All going to depend of course. If Haggard had a piece done himself, then he (and every other person in the hobby who wanted top work at that time) would use Jaime.  If it was something he purchased already restored, then oftentimes he would leave it as is.

Pretty legendary weekend, Pink Floyd debuted Atom Heart Mother in concert, and the 2+ hour long Zeppelin set finished off the show. Melody Maker estimated the crowd for Zeppelin at 250,000

Not publicly circulating.  Various quality bootlegs abound though.

I just received the Mummy's Hand OS via UPS from Gaston & Sheehan Auctioneers today, and it's definitely a very clean copy in a completely unrestored condition.  I'm very happy with this new addition to my Uni horror collection.

Wow, I didn't even notice how horrible that ROTJ result was - just the Star Wars I mentioned in the other thread.
Guess that is the lowest price he's ever gotten for this piece.
Hope the consignor wasn't one of the buyers from earlier this year (but considering how many of these they sell, it's more likely a person with a stack of them).

If those are your pickups from last night, congrats on the good deals.

It's a bit tricky to find these now but I persevered through plenteous hoops to screenshot the top 60 HA superstar MPs - Nov 2018:

Yup.

I put my silly bid in of $7k on the Thunderball teaser quad.  ...If only to say, "I took part."

That said, I figured it might have gone for $15k.

$24k!

'"Goodness me!" I said.  Or solitary words to that effect.

Mel, you seem to have missed off the Alien Marler Hayley set at $7800. I'm not complaining about the price realised as I have 4 of the 6 but it seems poor value to me for what are (albeit a complete set of) distinctly unattractive posters.

Mark, I couldn't agree more, I know those Alien MH posters are rare, but boy are they ugly!  I really don't get why anyone would pay that kind of price for such an unattractive set.
