Ouch.  That certainly sucks.  Maybe backing it would provide some relief?

This sort of thing is the worst for collectors. 

I still think we must get together, and come up with a plan to get these postal poster pummelers.

That's really terrible and I truly feel for you on this. It's incidents like these that make me want to buy insurance on every single poster I buy because you never know when this is going to happen.

I'm at a point where I e-mail every single seller and tell them how to package the poster and only about half of them listen. I hate how dangerous is it just to GET your poster.
