Remakes, etc. fall into two categories-those that have a remote possibility of being good such as the upcoming Thing film and the new Apes movie. The other type is the kind where you just hear that they are even attempting a remake and that's enough to let you know it will suck. Conan falls in this latter category without a doubt. There are far too many undiscovered gems for me to consider wasting my time on this type.
