Adam,

Am i reading this right? $4850.00 USD for Swatch Watches in a case from a 007 release party?
What makes the case so rare and valuable?

http://cgi.ebay.com/James-Bond-007-Swatch-Watch-Launch-Case-18th-Feb-2002-/260788900075?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item3cb83ad0eb

Thanks.

Jeff

Edit.. looks like it comes with 9 Swatch watches.. thanks Ari, for pointing that out.

I think its for the one (apparently rare) case and 9 standard (I assume 007) watches that were / are sold to the public.

You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

Response to the Swatch Watch Case:

I don't mean to sound rude, but ...
The case is NOT 'apparently rare'. It IS rare.

There was more than one Launch Party in different cities, each with around 35 cases.
The one I have is from the MAIN Launch Party in Milan, which includes the set of card posters as noted in the auction.

The extra 9 watches are just that - extra inclusions.
The case originally only came with the Dr. No watch.

I cannot stress how incredibly rare this piece is.
I know most people on the poster forums do not appreciate anything other than posters, but believe me, I have personally never come across one of these on eBay or elsewhere, especially the Milan version.

Just a quick bump to keep you all informed...
...I still have loads of non-Bond gear for sale!

Remember, I'm open to all offers!

There's still some pretty neat posters available, such as:
Nightmare On Elm Street US One Sheet (which is ROLLED and SIGNED and is COMPLETELY GENUINE - GUARANTEED).
Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2 US One Sheet (which again is ROLLED and SIGNED and is COMPLETELY GENUINE - GUARANTEED).
Alien UK Quad.
Terminator UK Quad.

And others ...

Really wanted to have a look at what's available but I can't open any '.xlsx' or '.docx' documents! Any chance of saving them without the 'x' so my old programs can open them!? Grin

I`ve tried various ways to view any of these listings. After 3 months of trying I had to give up..

I am hearing the pain...

I just saved the excel file as the older 1997-2003 version. Hope Adam doesn't mind me converting it and posting it.
Here it is. (hopefully it works)
Note there are 6 worksheets within the excel file (tabs at bottom of excel sheet) you'll want to view them all for the full lists of items.

I don't mind at all.

I did save the lists in Word format at one point, but if what you've done is working for others then great!
Thank you!
