Don't think this one poster is valuable at all. But it is the closest I have ever been to a "real" SW posters (commercial poster I guess) And I also found the notebook. We did a major spring cleaning in our office and found all sort of things. Including this small (folded) thingy. Just posting here to amuse you!

I never knew there were quite so many Star Wars posters! I think I've seen the first Star Wars film...or at least half of it. Rumour has it that they made a few more.

Not being a Star Wars person, I am asking myself if this is truly considered the first SW paper collectible.

Seems a bit of a reach to me bearing in mind the film is not even referenced.

The marketing seems to have worked as it went for $525!

Although the price is a bit shocking for me I as well I am no sure how much of their tie in to Star Wars effected it. Though I am sure it had some effect this particular poster is actually very rare in any size and is I believe the first time the one sheet has ever made it to auction to the best of my knowledge. Then again I did not really research it that hard. As it is they stole the description from Gus's site for the SW tie in.

I must admit, I gave it a 'go', twice, to decipher it. But gave up.

My head began to hurt and I wasn't sure I was going to benefit after the work involved.

Mind you, writing '5am in the morning' is also an exercise in tautology and redundancy... So when did you write that piece?

Amazing what adding just two little letters can do to the meaning of something. Especially when autocomplete kicks in on a phone but that is another story.

In the end the first sentence really lent nothing to the discussion other than a sleep deprived opinion anyway. The part to keep in mind is that the poster regardless of what genre or collecting niche it is listed under is quite rare and as an added tidbit was available in at least two sizes 27x41 and 40x60. Back on the opinion part I personally do not consider this a "Star Wars" poster and when I write up the Star Wars section of the ID site will not be listing this under it.
