Hmm.

While I understand the need to display all that which is owned, displaying in such tight frames and so tightly packed against one another.... to my mind it doesn't really allow the art to 'breathe'.

It just presents as a mass of disjointed colour.

I realise that with wallspace available and the size of 1 sheets, multiple displaying isn't really possible, I wonder if displaying three or four in that space would actually allow better representation.

To each their own, I do understand.

I know Schan (kovacs) had the Starfall at some point (maybe still has it).

Starfall.  It's a classic.

I think Schan still has it.
At one point it was up for sale but I think he came to his senses.
If he did sell it, he should be banned from the hobby.  wynk

The art is by Noriyoshi Ohrai, the genius responsible for the Aussie Empire (among others).

"Emovie Freakonomics": Irrational high bidding occasionally manifesting on EmoviePoster.com, great for consignors:

I paid $750 for mine.  Hell, the bidder could have bought a near-perfect rolled copy from CINEMASTERPIECES (of all purveyors):

Anyway, congrats to EMP, I'm sure the consignor is very happy, even if he is a poster murderer ;)

And congrats, too, to "Undead," the consignor of the Empire Strikes Back acetate OS proof set ($2100.00) and the UN-backed and rolled copy of the Polish Star Wars (C3PO) poster ($711.00).

 clap clap, Mike and EMP.

Rare (perhaps unicorn) ESB with white title:

All I will say is rare, yes. The only one? No. Same for several other only know posters in the list.

The B-Day poster has always been one of my favorites just because I remember and still have some of the toys from when I was a kid but that was a bidding war only.... maybe. Saw several posters tonight go for 3,  4, 5x+ previous records. Then again we just saw a rolled Jaws break 2k on eMovie so Bruce must be doing something right.

I have to agree with you there.

Not a poster but something seldom seen and for those that are as big a Star Wars geek as I am...

Some of the original Star Wars radio ad spot records from 1977 and 1978. I am planning on getting off my rear end and digitizing these some time this summer. Can remember them on the radio back then, can't wait to hear them now. Should be real clean as the records are virtually pristine.

I like what looks to be an Australian JAWS OS (?) laid down as the background for these various 45 rpm SW radio spots displayed.  ;)

Yes, came in yesterday. I actually just posted it in the Australian American thread as a comparison.
