I'm serious!

He will know how many we're printed, or at the very least have a very educated guess/theory.

I'd also want to know how many he has personally ;)

Maybe its been discussed but do these birthday posters ever show up in theatre used condition?
Just curious.

Ah, just found this nice conversation about the cake poster. Good fun!
I bought one of those (folded, with edgewear and pinholes) a few years back, from a local film archive.
How it ended down here in Argentina? A gift to an executive at Fox's local branch maybe? I have no clue, but if the number of copies is small as some say, I may have possesed the only birthday poster to ever touch south american soil!!  :D
I didn't have it for much time with me, just a few days. I bought it real cheap, and sold it on ebay for around $900 (to someone I later found was a MoPo member)
Used the money to pay the doctor that made the C-section surgery for my oldest daughter to be born. Thank you George Lucas  ;D

Had a pic of me and Mrs. 110x75 holding the poster, but lost in a computer meltdown.
But, if T needs proof, I still have the emails  ;)

$900 for a C-section?  Shit, how much would it be here... $10,000?

Oh, we have a great public health system down here too. Could have been free if a doctor from the hospital's staff did the surgery. The thing is Mrs. 110x75 felt more confident having her personal doc performing the C-section, so we went that route. $900 well spent I say  :)

Well I know I'd trade a SW poster for a healthy baby and mother. Good work.

With insurance my daughter came with about a $6500 bill.  The total bill was probably 12k when you add up all the different docs...

All five of my kids were normal deliveries with no complications. The doctor bill only for the first was $1800. The bill for the fifth (11 years later) was $13,500.

Same doctor, same hospital.

And yet they say there is almost no inflation!

Best use for a movie poster I have ever heard of.
Awesome!

With insurance, the total cost for our daughter's natural birth (this past October) was right around $1100.

The hospital bill was about $600. The doctor's bills came out to be able $300. The anaesthesiologists' bill was about $150. And the pediatricians bills (for the hospital visits) were about $50. This was all in a top-notch hospital, with a highly rated doctor, an epidural, two nights in the hospital post-birth, etc.

Keep in mind that this is the 'out the door' price and this is all after insurance.

I have to say, I was very impressed (and a bit shocked). And all without Obamacare!

Amen to that...thank goodness for our health system.

We certainly do pay for it though - just in a different way.  Suppose it's better than having a huge surprise medical bill...but the system is ripe for abuse

Yup. All three of mine arrived with no complications, the first cost zero in hospital fees etc, my third arrived seven years later and also cost zero. Same doctor.

Petrol on the other hand was $0.79 per litre when the first arrived and by the time the last arrived it had gone up to $0.96 per litre, so the cost of getting to the hospital was the real cost, now I'm thinking homebirths would have been the way to go.  :P
