Up in the Recent Acquisitions for April thread, Evan re-discovered a GOONIES poster that he had overlooked and that had been put away for years, in a storage tube. Could be an interesting thread, for those that have things they may have forgotten about or not looked at in years.

I came across a handful of things from the 80s, gotten from work. Nothing all that great, as some are video release OS, but after all this time, I was unrolling or unfolding a lot of "new" discoveries.

I really have to get me one of these.
Seeing as how you had it in storage for so long, you should sell it to another APF member, like me.  wynk

I love the Fright Night! My OS has an extra crease which drives me nuts. Normally folds dont bother me at all but that extra one....

I really like FRIGHT NIGHT, too, but I was disappointed to discover that mine was a video release OS.   Cry
On the positive side, it was a freebee.   Cheesy

I do think video posters (horror and sci-fi ones at least) will be sought after in a certain amount of years, by VHS collectors and nostalgics. They will surely not command very high prices, but I understand thereīs not a lot of copies of them around (as they were trashed with no remorse by video store owners) so they will be harder to come by.
Donīt know how many years will this take, but collectors of obsolete technologies will want these...

Hoffman is amazing in this movie. With a great cast, including Bill Murray, Jessica Lange (Oscar winner for her role), Dabney Coleman and Teri Garr. And, of course, directed by Sydney Pollack.

How and why I bought this French one panel Supergirl is beyond mortal ken.  It showed up while I was taking inventory of my larger posters:

I had this happen a few times. One was for The Outlaw Josey Wales One Sheet and another was for The Thing Japanese B2. I had bid on a few JP B2's all the while I had one in my flat file.

An almost identical thread was started with this topic in mind, in mid-May.

I am so disorganised since my little girl came along I dread to think how many posters I have doubled up on needlessly in the last year.

Yep, she knows my address. Tongue

I forgot I had these two, only because I never took them out of their plastic bags when Bruce shipped them to me.
