I've been a bit slack about changing posters lately but here's the new Jan 2012 office lineup (sadly my camera is on its last legs after I dropped it - the focus works very erratically):

Nice ET. Is that the 27x41 or the 27x40.5?

I also want the Pulp Fiction Lucky Strikes recall.

Wow, you are very ambitious!  I picked up both of these relatively cheap on Ebay, although you have to be quite religious about checking the auctions every week to find exceptional deals.

I "obtained" a 27x41 reprint of the 40x60 Barbarella poster to create the Barbarella corner:

Changed my mind - now it's the Butch Cassidy corner - three of the best four BC posters IMHO - US Style A, US Style B, Japan B2, just missing UK quad:

The B2 is awesome; shouldn't be in a corner...

Mel. I can't help but notice a MASSIVE upswing in the quality of what you display.

Looking back over the pages of these threads (and seeing where you came from and where you are now) is like seeing a documentary, "The Evolution of a Movie Poster Collector".

Great stuff!

You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

Hey I like my PW poster! And I only paid $10 for it. Maybe I'll consign it to Dave and it'll sell for $500 Smiley

Thanks but I can't really say I've matured as a collector. I tried to get "The Trip" poster - prominently featuring a nude woman on an acid trip - in your auction last night but another horny bastard bidder beat me.

Im glad Mel is happy with his collection and the style of posters that he has up now but I prefer the old "Mel Collection" with all the modern posters on the walls!!! Wink

Just when I thought I would never insist on buying original releases (instead of re-releases):

On a lighter note, Rocky Horror 10th:

The Amazing Spiderman is excellent as expected:

IMO, one of the most perfect posters ever made.

When are you going to start framing posters to the ceiling?  And I don't me hanging down I mean framing them on the ceiling like you are on the wall, that would be something to behold!

Damn... I wish I could get a collection like that. However, the woman will only allow 5 poster frames up on the walls, and only dedicated to the theater room. If I hung up more than 5, I would hear this = moron1

I would love to have Jaws, but the folds bother me for the price... Mel, You have so many I want.  mesmrized
