Wasn't there a reprint of that Totoro B1?

I have a bootleg Seven Samuri B2.

Also, video release posters can sometimes pose an issue, so you have watch for the Eirin marks.

Yes there is, I think Carson zeroed in on them last year.

Most telling issue is the hot pink text on the original being much more muted, almost a light maroon color on the repro.  There was a size difference, too, I believe.

All of this 50th anniversary talk has reminded me that the 75th anniversary is just next year. I wonder what they'll do?

A limited, re-release on the big screen would be one great way to celebrate snow white's 75th birthday.

The Studio Ghibli films are amongst not only the best animated films, but should also be included in discussions re: best films ever made, period.

Thanks, Anthony.  That IRON GIANT quad was a hard-fought slog.  The art is also available in a few other foreign formats.
Here's a few more toons of mine from the ass-end of the alphabet...

Ah, back when The Disney Channel's intention was to show theatrical Disney programming. Now it's literally an "event" when they show a Disney movie on ABC, and it's almost always Aladdin...

How goes the move, Ted?

Thanks for asking, Anthony.
Moved in, now on to the laborious task of unpacking...
Gotta love it.

You betcha. Very difficult to beat those Disney quads.
But Dale, your Japanese posters are extremely nice.
Especially like MONONOKE -- great film.

Some of those JP posters are really nice, Dale. I thought the assortment was pretty hit or miss but those that hit are fantastic.

Paul, I love the older Disney quads that you show here especially.

This would fit in that initial line up you have, original 1977 release quad for one of my favorites as a kid. The villain, Medusa, scared the crap out of me.  I personally think its also the best paper for the film, love the art and colors:
