Guy in the bus screened last week and said it was good, and he doesnt tend to appreciate the comic based films. Don't know if that is a good or bad thing...

Saw it tonight and loved it. I was looking forward to this one more than any other comic book movie this year. Chris Evans actually pulled off the role I was super glad to see that. When he was cast I was first to say "no way" but after watching some of his serious stuff again a few times I thought he might be able to do it. The style of this movie was great, well shot. 3D though, needed some work. People have been saying it's one of the best uses of 3D in a live action movie but I don't agree with that. Practical effects were nice to see again...even if there were only a few.

I liked it too. I was worried about this one going in like I was about Thor but they pulled it off also.

I am becoming more and more interested in the Avengers movie.

Totally with you on the THOR skepticism, I thought it would be a good movie, but not a good THOR movie. What put that skepticism into high gear was the Facebook reference we saw in the trailer. Facebook plus THOR equals wtf? But I thoroughly enjoyed that one too, Hemsworth hit it out of the park I was super impressed. The names in that movie were stellar as well, which made me more optimistic going in...I mean Hopkins, Hiddleston, Skarsgard, Portman Smiley ,  Feore, Elba, Stevenson...great great cast. So many people were upset about Idris Elba playing Heimdall but man he is so badass I loved his part.
