Somewhat relatedly, if anybody has Captain America posters kicking around, they're selling very easily for $30 to $40 on eBay. I just made a hundred bucks because the trailer sparked interest.

Looks pretty good.  I like that they incorporated some other Marvel characters into the movie:  Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos (I believe Wolverine is one of them),Howard Stark (Tony Stark's dad.  He's the scientist that pushes the lever to start the Super Soldier process), Armin Zola.  I one thing that irks me is that it's Hydra and not the Nazis that are the enemy.  Freakin' Marvel retcon  moron1

I picked one up also.  It will look good next to my advances for Thor, Iron Man and Incredible Hulk, my own Avenger display.

I like the idea of putting together an Avengers display, but this Captain America poster doesn't quite fit with the rest. The color scheme is too different.

Cap may be The First Avenger but we all know who the BEST AVENGER is.

Do we all? I would say you ask 10 geeks (myself included) you'd get at least 7 different answers.

If you asked ten geeks what their favorite Avenger was they'd say "Which canon and in what era?" and ultimately end up with about seventy superheroes only twenty of which you've heard of.

You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

Yes Ari, you are of course correct!

I got the chance to see this Avengers episode (A Touch of Brimstone) on the bigscreen (NFT) last year. And yes, when she made her appearance in that outfit you could definitely detect a collective intake of breath.

Classy lady.

Why is it that modern action movies always need to have the aggressive in your face guy staring you down in the poster?  It just leaves me cold.  Much prefer the 1990 advance that kovacs posted.

Also of note, is that the director, Joe Johnston (he who was cast out via the wrath of Lucas in the early 80s) also directed The Rocketeer, one of my favorite 'super' hero movies of all time. Very well done, incredible casting, amazing soundtrack, and so on.

Extremely underrated, worth a look-see if you haven't done so or at least lately.

I like it.
But, I'd like it more if he was hearing his cap/mask thing, though.
