Ed you consistantly come across some of the nicest material I have seen, at least for the eras we tend to collect in.

Thanks Ed.

Dr. Hackenbush...  I don't know if your comment was addressed to me.  Regardless, what does HTF mean?

Finally, here's a poster I've been hunting down for quite a while, and now it's mine.  All I need to do is pick it up when I go to France on Friday.  Now, I'm sure Adam (Adz) has 25 of them, maybe even 30, but it's my first.

4 Aliens double crown and 1 Dr. No...  2010 is starting well.

Ed, 'Withnail and I' a wonderful film, but that quad surpasses it! an altogether excellent haul there.

Ed, you are incapable of mediocrity. The inventiveness of your selections are only matched by your presentation.

In my lifetime I will never see you post a Frodo Looking Down in new acquisitions and I thank you.

Always look forward to your latest stash and now looking forward to your site. The Wild Style is epic.

The Explorers - International (UK) one sheet - This is a fairly hard to find style, particularly rolled. It's radically different to the US one sheet and is notable in that it features the alien creature not seen on any other poster for this film (to my knowledge).

The alien is on the quad as well, but that one sheet is a better poster, IMO.

Thanks for the comments fellas.

Carson, believe me, I am capable of mediocrity; just ask my wife (badum-tish). Don't be too disappointed when you see a Frodo looking down on my collection site though  Grin

Schan, I don't believe I've ever seen the quad so forgive my assumption. Do you have an image of it?

Schan and Mark:

Thank you for the replies RE the Goldfinger Alamo Red Variant poster. It is now on my wants list!

Thierry:

Even though I know you're having a laugh . . . Or are you!? . . . Hmm??

Anyway, you can take the piss all you like ha ha . . .
. . . What I want to know is why YOU think I would lie about what you are referring to???

On a serious note though, it does look bad on me when some of you still comment on that stuff, even though I know what I have said to you guys is the truth . . . Do you see what I mean??? I couldn't care less that you say that crap, what bothers me is that when people read this stuff they get a perceived idea of me; one that is more often than not wrong.

Eatbrie, I can't believe no one commented on your Dr. No yet... but let me be the first to congratulate you!  That French poster (its smaller no, maybe daybill size-ish?) is one of my all time favorite bond posters.

Adam,

There is a very simple way to end this, once and for all.  For months now, years maybe, you've been telling us about this great James Bond collection of yours, but we have yet to see a single piece.  Why don't you photograph them, like 5 or 6 of your best pieces, and post them on the forum.  No pictures from another site, YOUR pictures.  Just saying that you have something doesn't make it true.  And please don't answer by saying: "I'm an honest person, all my friends think I'm honest."  Show us pictures.  It's not that hard.  And give me the finger on one of them, that would be proof enough.

Thanks Harry.  Yeah, it is smaller.  I have yet to see it in person, but I can't wait.  Two more days before I go to Paris.

I think that's actually Frodo having his butt grabbed by Sam in a homoerotic manner.

Really nice Horror action, Dale. Those UK aliens are bad ass.

Movie director, poster framer, book author, web entrepreneur, ninja weaponry expert and back up drummer for Rush when they play Red Rocks at Denver. The Ron Popeil of movie posters... The Zam-man was the first I heard use the term "compression marks". If the Z man ever gets married and has twins, one will be named Uber and the other one Rare.

Gotta love it!  I knew you'd come through for me!

This is unbeLIEVable!  I'm going to have to ban my partner!  You and AD need to set  aside some time for each  other and have a nice heart to heart.  From what I hear, the more you fight, the more you love each other.  You two have GOT to be very very deeply in love.

Hey Joe, those banners are very nice.  You say you got them direct from a theater? That's even nicer. The Avatar paper (and vinyl) is going for top dollar all over Ebay.  That's a fine catch.
