Belinda Lee/She Walks By Night - nice one Matt. I checked out her bio. Wow, she was only 24 when that was made (1959). Sadly, she died two years later in a car accident.

Just got a joblot of archival frames in. Chantrell's quad art on the 300 Spartans is something to behold...Dam busters is a 60s re-release I think.

For Brude (and a couple others, you know who you are). Struzan's Happy Hour. Hey, so, sorry to bring this up again, but does anyone own this poster? According to Brude, it's a rarity, something like the movie never made it to the theaters, went straight to video in 88, and that 27x41in posters for it are unheard of. Brude? I never paid much attention to it, other than Tawny Kitaen's amazing silhouette. So I want to know what I have. Anyone who collects Struzan actually owns this poster? T

Haven't seen it yet so I can't comment on Avatar. But, regardless, I don't think Cameron is a hack. Terminator is the shit and I thought he did a good job with Titantic. Don't get all butt hurt because we think your little girlfriend isn't all that she's cracked up to be. Stick with Scarlett man, you were going in a better direction with her anyway.

Good stuff rolling in today - including a ROLLED Spy Who Loved Me!: Tough to get SWLM rolled - replaces a folded copy: Nice romantic 30x40 Cannery Row from MoviePosterBid's recent auction - of course, since I've blown all my money & time on posters, romance is not in the immediate future for moi: The Endless Summer II - ironically it's the endless winter here in DC - expecting 20 inches by tomorrow morning: UPDATE: Forgot these two Spanish one-sheets - impossible to get these in English versions, so I got these instead (and I'm starting to prefer internationals anyway):

Mel,
That is one serious S.O.S. Are you sure you belong on the East Coast? Is there a possibility that one day you will burn your suit -- sell all your posters -- and head West in a VW camper van with a beaten up surfboard? And if you did have to flee DC, and you could only take one of your posters with you, which poster would that be?

No way - I like the seasons. Perfect L.A. weather every day would drive me nuts. Plus snow is lots of fun and we get unexpected holidays: Plus I like surfing but I'm terrified of sharks - and for good reason!

Best to stay out of the water all together then as there are much bigger problems than sharks. I'm a diver though so maybe I'm biased. I love the movie Jaws, but man, it sure has made it hard for the poor critters who are slaughtered by the 10s of millions each year by humans. No sympathy either... By the way, that picture below is me handling the bait line on a Great White research trip in South Africa in 1999. I'm usually the only diver that swims towards the sharks we spot them underwater

I just don't like floating on the surface looking down in murky water and imagining sharks around me. Of course I'm being irrational. I blame Steven Spielberg!

Picked up the Dracula has risen from the grave teaser quad the other day. Paid a bit much for it, but it very rarely comes up for sale. Photographed it next to the far better and well known Chantrell quad. It's amazing to think the green teaser brings more money, as the Chantrell quad was a large print run due to Hammer giving them away at the time of release.
Hammer must of released quite a few of these words only quads, here is a couple of others I have.
