I'm literally about to give up collecting because I can't seem to get shit shipped to me correctly. Is it just me, or are sellers getting worse over time!?!?

Just tell them to use a "Bruce" tube. Everyone knows what those are!

Some sellers are extremely cheap to buy decent tubes and inexperienced in shipping. They think that if they write the word "Fragile" on the tube 5 times that it makes the tube/poster invincible to any damage.

Bruce, the poster I'm referring to was a $100 sports poster, so you're name wouldn't help in this scenario!

A great many sellers don't care or don't put a lot of thought into packaging. They see their poster or other item as simply something to sell and make some $$ on, using whatever is handy or cheap to wrap it in. With a little thought, tho, you would think the light would go on...

You know the best was when a seller used a the plastic deli bag that either ham or turkey lunch meat (cant recall what meat it was) came in from the meat counter at a grocery store. He/she used it as cushioning to protect the ends of the poster. it still had the deli sticker on it.

My friend in Japan got some stuff for me, they came shipped with the posters rolled together and the postage stuck on to the outer poster. Who needs packaging!

This keeps getting better!
And I thought I'd been subject to some bad packaging!
Best wishes,
Adam

Not AS bad, but I had an original release Fantasia Daybill posted in a plain brown envelope, no cardboard or anything, was then rolled up and stuffed in my letterbox. LUCKY it survived AOK.

the Bob Dylan "Dont Look Back" window I sold a few weeks back was initially an ebay buy.
There were no creases when I won it

then the schmuck sent it to me in a padded envelope and it wound up like this:

can you imagine what I would have gotten if it arrived in it's previous condition?
