Stew... it wasnt said that he dislikes crap quads. It was a broad, all encompassing comment about Quads and US 1/2 sheets:

Most UK quads AND US half sheets "blow chunks"

Big difference.
and i'll take a double double...  ;D

Or maybe we should have an octogon fight thread.... 1-sheets vs. quads.  Find the most lopsided examples where one truly pummels the other.

Good idea, man.  Who's gonna start first?  eyeroll2

Would love to see a Quads v One Sheet thread - there must be some good examples each way of when the artwork is superior in one of the formats. These days, I expect it's probably weighted towards One Sheets as that where the money is and a lot of quads seem to be lazy ports of One Sheet designs, but I would think there are many exceptions.

I don't tend to collect

- Posters for films that I don't like
- Pre-1950s - I can't afford them and I haven't seen many films from this era (outside of the obvious classics)
- Any poster that doesn't please me on an aesthetic level such that I wouldn't hang it on my wall
