Sweet poster... I don't know if I've seen one that hasn't been trimmed.  Mind posting a photo?

Nice!  So it looks like the trimmed versions I've seen were all missing paper at the top of the poster.

Why not wait until the anniversary of ROTJ in 2013 where another peak in interest will occur, unless you are in a rush to sell it now?

I would absolutely love this poster if it weren't for the Taun-Taun. I hate Taun-Tauns. SO MUCH.

I'm not up on Star Wars stuff so please excuse my ignorance but is this poster really worth $4000.00 - $4800.00. Is this seriously the going rate on something like this. It is undoubtedly a great Star Wars poster. I guess I am a bit shocked at the asking price.

if I was offered one free with a stipulation I COULD NOT SELL IT, I would decline. (but then many feel the same way about 90% of my junk)

There are different schools of thought to be sure.  Personally I think it is the nicest art work from the second (and probably best) movie.  On top of that it is very rare as it was pulled early.  And further still it is almost alway trimmed for some reason that escapes.  I can definitely appreciate it and I have no doubt that people are willing to spend this much on one... but that said I would never buy one for that price, or probably even half that, as I have other priorities in that price range.

By the way, what do you think a 8 year old Lost in Translation poster from Japan should be worth?  Wink

Personally, I wouldn't spend more than $100 on that.  But I would spend a few $Ks on that ESB quad... and I just might.

I still stand by that I will never own a Star Wars poster with a Taun-Taun on it.
Taun-Tauns can rot in hell. Get out of my art.

I'm starting to think that our dead horse gif might be applicable in more than one thread on this forum....

Only if it's beating a dead Taun-Taun. Wink

But I can take a hint. Sorry.

I was more curious as to what the going rate is on something like this, i never knew it was that much. Like I said it's a great poster.

In regards to the LIT poster, how many have been offered for sale for a 8 year old movie that you have seen? I have only seen 3 and one is now in my collection. So is the LIT poster worth what I paid for it...absolutely.

By the way, I'm not giving you shit about your purchase CJ. I love the LIT and have the charashi wall-papered up in my media room. I was just trying to point out that value is subjective....
