This may be weird, but I didn't think there was any harm in asking.

A friend has managed to source some Polish film posters that we've been looking for for a while, they're actually from a film distributor in Warsaw.

The only problem is they don't want to be hassled with tubes, packing, dispatching and costs etc. My friend offered to send money before hand so there were no issues but this doesn't seem to be the point, they need to be picked up. The courier companies he contacted only work by 'cash on collection' and he said he couldn't pay them up front either (not sure why tho?).

Sooo I was just wondering if anyone had a contact in Poland, preferably Warsaw who wouldn't mind popping along, picking them up and sending them to my friend? I know, I know, an absolute hassle!

If there is anyone that could help feel free to pm me any time and I'll get back to you asap. If something can be arranged I'll get my friend to deal directly as he has all the information.

Thanks for reading Smiley

AP

ps just read that back and it all sounds very cloak and dagger!

Got a helpful email letting me know about a guy in Poland but when we contacted him he was a bit too far away from Warsaw!

Anyone near Warsaw or if you know someone in that neck of the woods get in touch Smiley

Cheers.

Just a thought...have you considered asking your friend to phone a taxi to collect them and deliver them back to your buddy?(im assuming they might be free or very low priced..)your friend could then settle the bill and send them on to you??

Just a suggestion AP.

Yes, or call the local UPS/DHL office to see if they could do a pick up for you.  Might cost you extra, but it sounds like it would be worth it.
