Any one know what size this poster should be? I just picked one up being sold as an original and was curious. The image I inserted is not the actual poster purchased.

One more thing to add that I did not in my original post is that it supposedly measures 27.5 x 39.5

That's odd... there were Italian posters that size (1 foglio).  However, I thought they were still printed in Italian (like this Thunderball Italian 1-sheet from eMovie).  Was this for use outside of Italy?

Spoke to soon... eMovie has a handful of 1 foglios for sale in the new Tuesday auction.  Some are in Italian and some are printed in Italy, but in English.

Im not familiar at all with italian paper but the above info you posted is why it threw me off. I too thought that it should have been printed in Italian. Regardless, i like it and a US insert came with it.

Regardless, it is a great poster.  And considering it came with a Dirty Harry US insert (which is probably much more valuable), I think you made out well.  I was quite tempted by that auction...

Thanks for everyone's input and this supposedly came from the collection of David Frangioni, the author of Clint Eastwood - Icon

I just got the book for xmas... it's a great collection of posters.

Personally, I think the seller made a huge mistake by not putting the insert as the lead photo.  I bet there would have been a lot more bidding.  Congrats again!
