UNCUT POSTER - AUTHENTICITY

Hi All,
I haven't been collecting long but I've been searching for a while for an original Red Dawn (1984) poster which as some of you may know is incredibly rare, I found one online that the seller describes as an Original uncut that measures 30x42 inches, His description says that is the normal size of the posters before they are cut down to 27x41, I've never heard of 'uncut' posters before I figured they were just 27x40ish by default.
Basically I was hoping to get some expert or at least highly experienced collector opinions on whether or not such a poster could exist or if it is fake and if so is there a way to tell the difference without actually having the poster in front of me?
Any help or advice is appreciated

Red Dawn isnt as rare as you seem to think it is .. Bruce has sold 6 of them just this past year and with the remake slotted to come out this year I suspect that a lot more will be popping up trying to cash in on the resurgence of interest.
As for "proofs" .. Unless youre a completest or the poster really is rare (meaning many years could go by without anyone selling/buying any) they can be a hassle to deal with .. They are oddly oversized and can be hard to frame because of that, not to mention the excess white boarder unbalances the artwork (IMHO)

Hey, MDrumm...here's an affordable folded VG copy for only $25...
http://cgi.ebay.com/RED-DAWN-FF-ORIG-1SH-PATRICK-SWAYZE-CHARLIE-SHEEN-1984-/300467804182?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f546d816
I also pass on uncut printer's proofs for the same reasons fallenangel stated above.
Best of luck!
