Just wondering what everyone's opinion is with regard to Trade Ads? Are they just bit's of paper from a Magazine (well yes ), or are they worth collecting, or even worth any money?

I don't collect them myself, but a couple of years ago I bought a film lot at a local Auction and there was quite a few in it. I know they often they turn up on the Bay,  but does anyone buy them?

Here's a couple I took pics of...

First, that DD ad is awesome!  happy  Second, I'd buy some if they showed a rare or unpublished poster, like the Lugosi FRANKENSTEIN

I did toy with the idea of framing that one, but never got around to it. There is some quite rare stuff in the box, but I can't get it out of my head they are just from a Magazine!

Paul, excellent as always..your maybe gonna fall short of making your first million off them but they would have some value i would think, they would be perfect for framing and hanging in smaller rooms.  thumbup

I don't think I'm going to make a Million ever due to buying posters, and playing with cars.  Though I must say there is some excellent info to be obtained from these, as there are dates, and places for a films release. As we all know dating some U.K. posters is a nightmare, so very useful.

Shit, I misread the title.  I thought it said Trade Adz Smiley and was wondering who in his/her right mind, would want to trade the little schmuck.  He's a keeper.

I think some of them are fantastic, although I think some sellers tend to over value what they have.

These are the only ones I have, both with art by Alberto Vargas:
