You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

As Harry says TMFSS is very underrated. The Quad is a great Eastwood image also, but never goes for much. I'll post it when the Eastwood thread starts.

Love the Lobbys MMM. They are all jollyfine.

It's nice to see Mel's tastes change as time ticks on. Nice one Mel.

Finally picked up this rare US international High Fidelity tonight at Emovie for $39. I'm not thrilled it's folded but who knows when it will pop up again?

I thought "there isn't anything to buy" Thierry?

Or does 2011 change things?

He whines when he's spending too much money and he whines when he has nothing to buy. It's only fitting that he picked a screen name to go with his whine since the only thing missing was cheese.

I dont usually mind folds at all but they can be a bit of a nuisance in modern posters. Still thats a pretty cool poster. I was on it but when I saw the dread pirate alphamel I was outta there and onto greener pastures.  Tongue

Had a fairly quite xmas - poster wise - spending my money instead on vast quantities of alcohol! nice !!!!!
heres some i did buy
a couple of 30x40 from the States - slowly getting into this format - all rolled & easy to frame - any thoughts on format/print quality vs traditional 1 sheets?

finally got these - well the wife did! not that she had much choice as my xmas list consisted of posters or blu ray discs.

& finally a couple from dale - cheers by the way.

I like the 30x40s because they're rolled.  Artistically, they're usually exactly the same as the 27x41 with extra space on the sides. They also fit a standard quad frame.

agree totally - but i was wondering why there not as popular & demand better prices - i picked up Logans  & billion dollar brain for £25 each & funeral cost £40(+P & P) which i consider a bargain.

The extra white space on the sides is a minor detracting factor.  I'd prefer a rolled 27x41 over a rolled 30x40.  Also, a lot of 30x40s have "crinkles," so collectors may avoid them.

If you care about folds, 30x40 is a nice alternative on older posters, especially since they're cheaper.  I personally do not care about folds, as do many collectors, so 27x41 will always remain the format of choice, therefore making 30x40 a sub format collected by a minority and therefore much cheaper.  I can proudly say that I do not own any 30x40.  IMO, the extra white borders are extremely distracting.
