Yep, 1961rr, from the collection of Wade Williams, who "owns the largest independent library of science-fiction film rights and distributes his product worldwide through Corinth Film," according to IMDB.

Wow, that's what mine will look like framed?
I'd best get it out of the closet...

It is the ULTIMATE poster and, I'll bet that if it ever comes to auction it will set a new record.
It just don't get no better than a FRANKY six-sheet.

I've seen the Franky 6 sheet framed but never up on the wall.  I hope it's screwed in with titanium bolts!

In the Hollywood Treasure where it's shown off and there's an obviously fake purchase attempt it's just resting against the wall.

Amazing...

Simply and utterly fantastic.  sm1

I wonder what this would sell for, in the right auction, if it ever was made available? I noticed how the person who uploaded the picture to his flickr account said it could be worth millions. I think it could break the $Mil mark, without a problem.

In the Hollywood Treasure episode featuring the poster I *think* they discuss something like $2 million...haven't watched it in a while though

Chris, I saw that episode, too. That number sounds right. It would be amazing if it broke $2 mil, that's for sure.

I guess that would mean placing it in an auction with a reserve, to at least insure that minimum amount that would be accepted.

I think about the story of this being found in a suitcase and have to wonder (value aside) what that would have been like to unfold each section, lay them out, and see this, in full, for the first time, in all those years.

Well very few people seem to really know the true story.  The legitimacy of the suitcase story has been called into question many times.

Still, however it was found and acquired (nefariously or otherwise) it would still be an awesome experience no doubt!

I still think it's a lot of hyperbole to talk about its value though - it's only sold once and presumably at far, far less than even $1 million...

I figured that the "found in the liner of a suitcase" story might be a bit embellished but it still makes for a good tale. Id love to know the real story, tho, as it would make for an interesting provenance.

It is similar to Todd's BRIDE OF FRANK teaser that did not sell short while back at Heritage.

One can place a value on pieces like these, but, will they sell for that price (or not) always remains to be seen.

My Man Godfrey (1936) - not sure what size this is - title card, half sheet?

Indiscreet (1931 US 3S):

Indiscreet (1931 US 3S):

A clarification and correction. The above is not a 1931 3S but a later re-release. Art Cinema Associates, Inc handled the re-release of INDISCREET in 1937, (their company name is at the bottom of the poster); United Artists distributed this film, initially, in 1931. In addition, Joseph Schenk's name would be on any 1931 first release paper, as it was his production company that made the film for UA.

Here is a title lobby card from the 1931 release that shows both UA and Schenk's ("Joseph M Schenck Presents") names on it:

1931 posters for this title must be quite scarce. Heritage has only sold the R1937 OS as has Bruce. Doing a quick search, I could find no image of any 1931 poster material (aside from a number of 1931 lobbies that HA has sold and some sheet music).

Absolutely loved Lombard's hair. Is it on fire or just trying a bride of frankie hairdo?
