This must look amazing in the 6 sheet format! With the rainbow bridge connecting the railroad's movement and progress from East to West! And i like the look of the soldier in the lower right with his clay pipe clenched in his teeth.

Simpler graphics for a simpler time... but for then (1924), and for what it represents... is certainly all works together. (imho).

Agree..not for me either. This is a great looking 6 sheet but not my cup of tea. But congrats to the soon to be owner!

I love John Ford and this film. I have always loved this other one. It just speaks to me

That's the great thing about posters (like other artistic forms and media) - "beauty in the eye of the beholder syndrome."

Leave it to Brini to put together the best poster for Mogambo. He takes Ava Gardner and creates this beautiful poster. She is more important than the title! JOHN FORD must have been pleased.

The pic in the article was lifted from db, who lifted it from Heritage.
