A few images I've found lately from various books and the Bonham's auction:

A couple of lesser-known German posters from Metropolis:

Metropolis (1927 German 95cm x. 141.5cm):

Metropolis (1927 German 126cm x 187cm):

Fantomas (1947 France 1P):

Woman In The Moon (1928 Germany 98cm x 210cm):

Red Mark, The (1928 US 1S):

Scandal (1929 US 1S):

Manhattan Cocktail (1928 US 1S):

Rare first version one sheet for Deadly Is The Female (1949), later retitled Gun Crazy:

20th Century (1934 US HS): Why is this "floating heads" design so much better than modern "floating heads" crapola:

Not as spectacular as the one sheet (which might just be THE best Dracula poster) but it sure is nice.

Lugosi's trademark hand contortion in particular is perfect as a focal point...

Compared to lost 1931 three sheets - that Style D looks quite stunning even in B&W:

vs. Frankenstein 1938rr (only surviving Frankie 3S):

The Philadelphia Story Italian 2P, coming up for auction at HA, much better than US posters, although the US insert is pretty funny:

Hey, the Italian is a BRINI, you just can't go wrong  :-*with that.

I love the art on the Jumbo card. It is classy Philadelphia Story...

I much prefer the US insert as well....Brini did a wonderful job on the art, it just doesn't capture the flavor of the film the way the insert does....

Oh, Brini can be WONDERFUL.  Here is my one and only:

Perfectly captures the film, is the best poster ON the film, and probably one of the best renditions of Crawford of all time.

So occasionally he screws up...we'll give him a pass ;)

Learn something new everyday.  Tonight EMP sold the pressbook for the 1941 planned release, which was delayed for several years (and the posters radically changed to feature a scantily-clad Russell): "[T]his is a pressbook from the intended 1941 release of this classic movie! Posters and lobby cards were printed, but then the release was cancelled. The movie did not receive its general release until 1946, 5 years later! Only a couple of posters and a couple of dozen lobby cards have surfaced from that aborted 1941 release."

I could only find one original release poster - supposedly the only one sheet left - sold by Heritage for $16K in 2006:
