TRIBUTE TO MY GRANDFATHER

He used to say that three great things came out from America: Rin Tin Tin, John Wayne, Coca-Cola. Here are two of his films all time favourites. I need to buy a Rin Tin Tin Herald. He had many at home. Unfotunately those heralds are now lost forever.

The Night Cry (Warner Brothers, 1926). One Sheet (27" X 41").

Stagecoach (United Artists, 1939). One Sheet (27" X 41").

Nice, Ted. I always loved this image. Very colorful and the side by side closeups are fantastic. Even the title grabs your eye.

Indeed.  thumbup

The print quality of Grant and Kelly on the 40x60 is inferior, appearing more washed out and less colourful. The portraits are also less detailed than those on the quad.

Meh, the artwork kinda sucks.  Look at the face on Hayworth, SOOOOOOO much better paper on this title.

I hear you Steve... I'm torn as well.  The left half of that poster has what could be the most beautiful representation of Hayworth ever put on paper (which is saying a lot), yet the right half would preclude it from ever being displayed in my house.  My wife wouldn't allow it, and frankly I'm not sure I would want it up either.

But... DAY-UM... that left half  bed1

Tried posting a larger size but failed miserably. I hope the pic does it it justice.

And educative. Do hard drugs and giant green spiders will come to get you when you're naked.
