Yup, still stand by it.  It's like they gave all those Eastern Europeans a bunch of paint by numbers sets.

Sorry, for singling you out Louie.  I wasn't implying you should change your opinion or trying to make the case to others that you were "wrong" somehow.  Just that differences in taste will always exist and that's what makes this hobby interesting.  cheers

Well, you've convinced me not to bid on the Casa 6-sheet Rosa.  However, I'm not sure that means the price will come down.   ;D

Saw the Cleopatra dress at a recent V&A Museum Exhibition. The costumes were surreal. She was tiny-miny-meene-moh... what a incredible costumes tho.

That is beautiful, I could have them both Harry!

Though my favourite is the French. You see Harry, for me the French has a sadness and a depth..and an aura of romanticism. It is all about the emotion and devotion that Coudon brings to the poster with that very simple gesture of Quasimodo. It is so delicate seeing a huge man like that. It is alive. That you cannot find in Ballester's. As beautiful as that one is.

In my Humble Op- BUT WILL HAVE THEM BOTH IF I COULD.

But I am grateful to you for posting this one here, the more the merrier...

The Ballester art is striking, and, as are most of his posters, it is like a fine work of true art. Hunchback wasnt released in Italy until after WWII, in May, 1948, so the poster dates from no earlier than that.

In France, the film was released in April, 1940.
