Ugh.
I find it hard to believe that is from the same artist who did that nice 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA.

I don't buy many Mondo posters, and I've not much liked anything Jock's produced for them. But I'm very seriously thinking of picking up one of the bunch of these that's been popping up on Ebay since yesterday. Really really like this. It's being sold at the NYCC and, like the Halloween print, won't later be sold online.

This is the reason I hate being in the UK right now. Grr... I have to have that Shaun of the Dead!!! I don't get paid till the end of the month so hopefully a few more will pop on ebay at a lower price. I don't want to pay £200 for it but I may just have to. Anyone selling?  ;D

I'm out of the Mondo game but your best bet is to check out the sale/trade listings on Expressobeans.com.  You'll usually find somebody willing to make a reasonable deal:

(You'll have to sign up with the forum to access that link.)

When I started collecting I said to myself that there was no way I would buy any prints, especially Mondo, as they were like fashion items (they may look cool and trendy now but will date much quicker than a movie poster) and were waaaay overpriced. Didn't see the point in buying them. But then Martin Ansin's Brazil came out and, like a whore, was all over it (and that's only because it's my favourite film and can't see myself ever parting with it) and again I said NO MORE. Then they go and pull out bloody Shaun of the Dead. Goddamit.

BRAZIL might be my favorite Ansin art.

In addition to the spectacular quad, what other paper do you own on this title?

Funny.  It's my least favorite, and by a long, long stretch.  I didn't even bother getting it.

Only these two at the moment. Going to get the Japanese and US posters sometime in the future but I'm in no rush. But I won't be getting anything with the horrible falling bed design - just awful.

Definitely my favourite too but don't have any connection to the film so wouldn't pay the high price.

Ansin's Frankenstein and Tongs Bride are beautiful. Love them.
Pity I will never be able to own them, sigh.

The Durieux steal the show for me.

Any leftovers for a drop, Mitch, or are flippers the only way to go?

A good number of things will make it online. We specifically tried to edition things so they wouldn't all sell out in person.
Cheers.

Awesome.  You guys really picked the right artists for the job.  I think this is the best collection of prints you've ever had.

I always thought Tong's Invisible Man was underrated, I think that piece is wonderfully drawn.

I quite like the variant Creature (Taylor) and Frank (Ansin), along with The Mummy and the other Frank.

That Drac, however, is terrible.  Nothing says bloodlust like constipation.

I like a lot of these, well done Mitch! I hope I'm quick enough to score an Ansin Frank or Durieux Wolfman if they make it online.
