Thanks man!  I should have put more thought into it...  I totally forgot about the meeting when I read the e-mail.  Oh well; had to get this one!

Oh I am!  And thanks.  It went well.  I priced all the posters very fairly and just about all were sold within one hour.  I hate gougers just as much as Thierry does, so I made a lot of people happy with their new purchases, and I got a nice new iPad which, by the way, is awesome.

Hey Holiday,

I saw you had a bit of a sale at eBeans.  Gratz on the results!  I am sure you will enjoy that shiny, new iPad  :)

Best regards,

Holiday

I'd say that this guy pretty much copied Patrick Nagel's style.

Not bad, but I think it would look better if the dancer looked more like Natalie Portman.

I only liked 2 of these... and I got them.

The rest did not appeal to me.

They don't look as Nagel-like as the Black Swan and Metropolis.
Very cool.

Looper is one of Ansin's finest, short of Brazil. I also like that it wasn't immediately recognizable as Ansin. Shows some range in style I didn't know he had.

If you didnt immediately recognize Looper as an Ansin piece, then you dont know Ansins work all that well. No offense, just sayin'.

Head to ExpressoBeans' Mondo thread when the image first surfaced, and see just how many people had to use some detective skills to be certain.

You can't honestly look at Looper and say he hasn't evolved his common style. Less sharp, clean line work. More complexity to his shading.

I'm not saying it's totally unrecognizable, just different.

...which was the very point of the show...

So 'homage' would be the more appropriate term as I am sure Drake would agree.

Didn't realize, but the show was really to copy another artist?  I don't quite get the point.

This is one great print.

I bought my tickets this morning, but of course, it had to be on the night I'm seeing Book of Mormons.  One of my friends was quick to jump on the bandwagon and will go to the screening instead of me.  I will still get a print, though (but not two like I originally wanted :().
