I was initially liking Whalens work, but he is simply putting out too much right now. I would say it is pretty obvious he can turn out product faster than anyone else Mondo works with.

Paint by numbers is a quick process.

He's a one-trick pony so it's pretty easy for him to do the same thing over and over again.

I was on it from go ! This was an easy drop overall .. Jay has a pretty solid following now and his sold out relatively fast.. I passed on both but I carted and went through checkout just to see if there was anything different with the new site. :)

Was the checkout any different? I might have to do a Gremlins 2 dry run :)

I passed on both. I think Kill List is a special little film, but have the quad and prefer it. Regarding Last House on the Left...I think Jock's a great artist, but my wallet came first today.

I didnt notice any major differences with the check out process .. I did notice that I was automatically logged in which surprised me considering the whole reboot of the site and all that. It makes me wonder if they have integrated IP tracking to recognize users.

It's easy to see why...

And there is only one 'Jay' when it comes to these prints and his last name sure isn't Shaw...

I didn't like any of these prints when I first saw them last night, but I kept checking the Last House and I really grew on me.  I ended up getting it.  The other one left me cold.

Last House on the left? or LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET? (love the latter, hate the former)

Where is the Stout, I thought that was for sure happening once BTTF licensing was squared away.

Well they did say now that they have the licenses .. heres this print set .. so I assume that since they have it they will use it some more and not to mention stouts handbill teaser .. I suspect one is around the corner.

The main problem I have is with part 2 of the triptych..Marty seems to have the longest arms I have ever seen.

Overall, I don't like these posters. However, I do like the concept on connecting all three together to make one bigger art picture. Its just unfortunate they were not well done in this case.

I think they're ok, but I'll be saving my money. I think it's tough for a title like this though, I really like the Struzan artwork on the theatrical poster, so it'll be hard to beat. Interested to see what Tyler Stout does with it though, I hope it's a large edition!!  :P

I'm guessing pretty much the same as all the others.  Good luck to anyone going for one.

I like them.  Still debating which set I will get, if not both.

I know that people have been begging for a Stout BttF, but I really don't get why... It's not a flick that's really begging for a collage.  I'd much rather see other artists attempt the title.
