Ok, that makes sense if they are APs. Perhaps I misread/misunderstood the site as more of a 'you pay, we print' outlet. My bad.

That one I will get, simply because Frozen is my favorite flick of last year.  I must have watched it 20 times on DVD.

I agree Mel,  I was all over the other 2 until I saw the size. There is simply no reason for Mondo to be doing 18x24 anymore at all. Small time shows and backwoods ho-downs, 18x24 is fine, but if you are going to be charging $40+ for a print there is no excuse to be sticking it to your customers with the small prints.

I now own 2 Whalens!!!!!!!!  Toy Story and Frozen.  Never though that could happen.  But Frozen is so great (the movie, that is), I had to get it.

Wasn't able to snag Frozen, due to being busy and away from the computer.

Would like to get one for my daughters' room, if anyone would be open to selling and helping me out, please let me know.

Strictly as an "investment," I've done well selling these Mondo posters.  I bought these for $212, sold for $806 (including 12% Ebay commission).  Still I'd prefer that they jack up the print runs or run 24 hour times sales and avoid all the game-playing:

Posters From France is quite a big French dealer/collector I think...I find it interesting he is buying Mondo prints, I always thought there wasn't a huge amount of cross over between collectors that collect Mondo and 'proper' posters.

Posters from France is Dominique Besson.  I don't know if he's buying to collect or to resell, but spending $600 on a King Kong print is ridiculous.

T, Do you recall ever having seen these kind of prints for sale on Dominique's site before? I can't, but then I was never looking for them, there, either.

No, its the going rate now.

Dominique has been in full on Mondo-hoarding mode since last year. I did a bulk trade with him. I bet he has a heck of a collection at this point.

Oh, and Dale not sure why you would really believe this since you of all people have been in tha Mondo game since the old days.

Smaller sizes aren't 'sticking it to customers'. It all comes down to artist and studio preference for the most part. The prices have increased because licensing has done likewise.
Also, who needs a bunch of 24x36s? Boring.

I don't check his site and I don't buy from him.  He's outrageously overpriced.

They're all over eBay, Dale.  In any case, I don't think any prints from the Ansin/Tong show will increase much, so you probably have all the time in the world to purchase it.

Got my Jungle Book in the other day...  The screen printing quality was rather sloppy. Was this done on purpose?

Printing was rushed for it to make the show. Quality control was forsaken big time on this piece.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with this piece. Disgusting, I say.
I have a mint $50 bill that I will gladly give you to remove that monstrosity from your sight. Seriously, the printing on this bill is outstanding - I've never seen its equal. You won't be disappointed.
Let me know where to send it and I'll do likewise. thumbup ;)
