Some of the Disney prints are looking nice, there is an Ansin - Beauty and the Beast, Whalen - Lion King, Richard - Peter Pan as well.

I think Fallen and T have done Mondo Movie Madness and/or SDCC events, but you have to go to Austin to do the Gallery shows.

There is some nice stuff.  I like the Kelly and the Ansin.

They are pretty straightforward.  It looks like "the mouse" has had the artists on a very tight leash with little room for creativity, but there are a few prints I will probably try to pick up.

haha Mondo Movie Madness .. i like that one! :) MMM = Mondo Mystery Movie ... I have been to 2 separate MMM's .. one was the screening of 6 movies in LA and I was at the Halloween MMM in Austin where they screen Dawn of the Dead in a mall after transporting everyone on buses with police escorts and having the buses (and us) mobbed by zombies in the parking lot. George Romero was there and even pulled out a gun and shot a zombie! That one was a pretty awesome event.. my only complaint about that one was waiting like 2 hours to board the buses, the metal folding chairs we had to watch the movies in and I thought the prints for the movie sucked. But all that was pretty minimal to how cool everything else was.

I will be attending the Disney show tomorrow too. This will be my first Gallery event.. however I was going to Austin before this show was announced so this was more of a bonus to the trip. I will not be landing in Austin until about 12 tomorrow and from what I hear on EB there are ~20 people already camped out at the Gallery. So I don't know if I will be in any position to pick up any of the in demand prints. But since I was going to be there anyways and I am not a huge Disney fan I feel like I can relax and just enjoy the trip and not be all stressed about which posters will be worth anything. If I see something I like and its there I'll pick it up, if not then no worries. :)

I made the mistake of offering to PB on EB a few weeks back and quickly pulled that offer.. I got bombarded and I didnt really want to get stuck buying 20+ prints and worry about packing them and traveling and then shipping them out just so they can (most likely) turn around and try to flip them. I want to go and just enjoy the trip and hang out with Kristen Bell! ;)

Can you buy prints at the show?  I think I have asked this... I am really digging the Alice and Sword in the Stone.

Hi Charlie,

Yeah. The normally have prints for sale when the gallery show opens.  If you were planning on going to the show, you should plan on a very long day waiting in line.

I don't know if they have any original art, but the way they have handled that is to first offer it for sale to people who attend the gallery show.  Then, whatever is leftover, they put up for sale.

Whatever leftover prints go on sale on the website.  The OG pieces typically have a "contact us" tag when they are available.

Enjoy the show, fallen. Take pics if you can and post 'em if you don't mind. Sounds like a cool event to be attending. Say hi to Kristen for me. ;)

I am not a patient man, so probably not for me...  May just have to try and get them after or off eBay.

You should drive up to Austin on Saturday and buy a boatload of prints and flip 'em.  Only a 2.5 hour drive for you.

But you'll do even better if you go there for the Ansin show on March 14.

How? How can you possibly screw up a poster for The Incredibles?

Not to mention the poor attempts at Wall-E and Up...

Nothing would have topped the Robert McGinnis INCREDIBLES anyway...its a beaut.

Wall-E and UP look Etsy.

Its great, but the borderline ridiculous edition size of 250 is driving prices up.

Olly + Disney should = at least 500 copies, give or take.

Yikes!!!

This is going to be much harder than I thought.

So far, I got only 2 at acceptable prices, but the night is still young.
