Pass for me.  If some Polish or Czech artists had done it in the 80s, I would have been all over these pieces.  There is something to say about an artist who hasn't seen the movies and tries to give a unique rendition of what those movies are supposed to be.  I would pretty much accept anything as long as it is visually pleasing.  But to do it years later and after everyone has seen these movies doesn't work for me.

I like both! I think the Jaws is really cool...liking the travel poster feel, colours, typography and lack of shark (bizarrely). Even though ET is obvious and derivative, I'm a sucker for the film and the moon/bike imagery.

Better than those ones with a hundred scenes from the movie traced over, that's for sure.

I would wager that Spielberg probably did not have to rely on the drop.

For him, it could have been a simple phone call (by one of his peeps) and 25 were peeled from the stack, prior to the drop being announced.  ;)

Pass here too. I love Nightmare, but it's hard to beat the US one sheet and the UK quad artwork.

I whiffed on the Stout.  :'(

I watched the entire show.  As they were released, I really wasn't terribly interested in any of them until that last Django Stout.  The Mondo site was a crawl at any point a print was dropping.

In order to ease the pain of my failure, I picked up this recent Horkey print.

I don't know how you do it T.  Gratz on your scores.  At least I still have the ultra-slim hope of being picked by Sarah in the lottery for the Django.

Those Horkeys are really cool.  If I didn't hate snakes, I'd get them for sure.
