We know that many of you like to wait for the "last minute" to place your bids, but remember that if you do that, it is easy to either forget to bid or to get busy watching several items and miss the end of some or all of them, so there are also pluses to bidding before the auctions begin to end. And remember that there surely WILL be LOTS AND LOTS of last minute bids placed (in recent weeks, more and more bidders are waiting for the very end of the auctions, and the prices have doubled on average during the final day!), so just because you have the high bid with a short time to go, you should still go back to the auction right near the end, and see if anyone else outbid you, so you have a chance to re-bid, if you choose to (and remember that our auctions are time extended auctions, which won't end until five minutes go by without a bid being placed, so you can never get "shut out").
