Just got this item in the mail today and I wonder why people insist on using cheap, undersized, and crappy cardboard to protect whatever they are shipping through the mail.  I just don't understand it.  The photo that was enclosed has a crease in the center of it, but the emulsion was not broken.  The problem is I REALLY need the photo for my collection but don't know what to do.  Suggestions???

Ask for your money back, or if you want to keep the Photo, See if they will offer a discount due to their incompetent packing.

But, but, they DID write "Do Not Bend". What more could they do?

I feel for you, Louie.  That's one reason why I ship Priority boxed.  I've sent a few books in a Priority envelope, but even with four pieces of strong cardboard sandwiching them there may not be enough protection.  Anything expensive gets mailed in a Priority box, and the really expensive stuff gets sent Registered.  All my experience has been with comics, but I'm sure the same logic applies to MP

Heres one I had a few years ago.
Damn it, I had been saving and waiting to buy this poster for ages, one of my all time favourite films, and the UK 1 sheet is the one to get.
From a pro dealer, was a little disappointed, but it still looks ok.

(also disappointed considering I paid a HECK of a lot more postage than.....)

and the damage

And the poster

You Ari, are the only one in the whole world I like that eats offal, misses his dead rat carcasses, draws women on walls with skin peeling off of them and keeps a meat cleaver by his bed.

As of April 19th Ebay will feature FedEx shipping services. I say this entire board should unite and ask sellers to ship via FedEx, and if you sell posters only use FedEx in your auction listings. Imagine the affect us movie paper freaks would have on the market? Who's in?
