Casino Royale '67 UK Front of House set

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there such a set for this film.

I had bought a set labeled as UK, but in fact it was a US set of 12, complete with NSS numbers and the lot.

The UK campaign book seems to think there was a set of something but it's a bit vague.

There is a secondary question surrounding the UK set of FOH for NSNA, the UK campaign book illustrates the set but again, it appears as though they are stills with NSS numbers, making them US. Was there a UK set, even if it was a set identical in content but just without NSS numbers?

Hi!

We've never had any front of house stills for CASINO ROYALE so can't help there.

The only 8" x 10" front of house stills which we have seen for NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN were US with NSS Ref 830102

There is a set, I've seen single cards but never a full set for sale. They are just stills with title and credits at the bottom.

Paul, these cards sound like the US set.  Do they have NS numbers for right?  If so, they're US.  Failing that, how do the cards you've seen differ from the US set?  There are US examples on ebay.

I don't remember them have a NS number, but I would have to check on that. I was going to buy some of them, but bought something else, wish I picked one up now. I will have a dig about tonight.

That said National Screen services did release posters lobbys etc in this country. I have a couple of U.K. Quads with must be returned to NSS on them!!

That was the case for many thousands of quads - and as an alternative to returning the poster to NSS, they used that wonderful phrase - 'or suitable evidence of its destruction furnished'.
