Charlie's Protest Poster Collection

(1/2) > >>

Charlie:
I am posting this because I think T will dig it...  I recently picked up a French Revolution poster book:

I've been collecting protest posters for years... Here are a few of my favorites:

Mondo Hazardo:
Interesting, I have a few of those posters, the Cohn-Bendit in red, the rat one and Stop Policing the World in exactly the same perforated computer paper.

redman:
i've got that Mai 68 book (in MUCH better condition!)
think it says DON'T sell these posters as that will make you a capitalist and DON'T use them as art. because of that i've always quietly shaken my head when i've seen Mai 68 posters for sale ;D

One cool thing is that when I opened this book it looked like some student organization was using the book to make a poster. There was a few photo copies and a mock up of the final poster with the little bit (shown in the fold of the Cohn Bendit poster) cut off "International Socialist Organization"...

I was just excited to find this - condition isn't great and there are a few posters missing. But the nice ones range from $300 to $900!

The perforated ones are Berkley posters printed on used computer paper...
